About the Hail Mary
The Hail Mary is composed of two parts: the first from the Gospel of Luke, and the second added by the Church in the 16th century. It's the most frequently recited prayer in the Catholic Church.
When to pray: 10 times in each Rosary decade
Purpose: Honor Mary and ask for her intercession
