The Fatima Prayer
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy. Amen.
How to Pray the Fatima Prayer
The Fatima Prayer is traditionally prayed:
- After each decade of the Rosary (after the Glory Be)
- As a standalone prayer for peace and conversion
- During personal meditation and reflection
- In times of need for God's mercy and forgiveness
History of the Fatima Prayer
The Fatima Prayer was revealed by Our Lady of Fatima to three shepherd children (Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta) during the apparitions in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.
This prayer is also known as the “Fatima Pardon Prayer” because it specifically asks for God's mercy and forgiveness for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope, and do not love God.
The prayer emphasizes the importance of conversion and the need for all souls to turn to God, especially those who are most in need of His mercy.
